George Bernard Shaw once said: “You see things and say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were and say, ‘Why not?’” That quote embodies how Preston Bailey approaches every event. He has become especially renowned for his ability to completely transform raw, ordinary spaces into sumptuous, theatrical environments, translating his clients’ visions into awe-inspiring reality.

His work is often referred to as art installations. With the advent of new technologies in areas such as lighting, tent design, and image projection, clients are no longer held to the limits of their imagination; the impossible is now possible. He is the author of the best selling books: Design for Entertaining, Fantasy Weddings, Inspirations and CELEBRATIONS. Preston’s passion for his work has led to many public speaking engagements and numerous television appearances. At any time, one might see Preston on: The Oprah Winfrey Show, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra, CBS’s The Early Show, and The Today Show. He regularly appears in dozens of publications including Town & Country, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle Décor, The New York Times and the NY Post.

Preston is flexible and multi-faceted in design. Past projects include: a home collection, silverware, 1-800 Flowers and Sandals Resorts. Preston has offices in New York, Indonesia and The Middle East. He is originally from Panama and has worked in many cultures around the world.
