As a florist, interpreting our clients instructions is always a interesting challenge . I once had a client who was adamant in her love of flowers, bit wanted them used in a totally different way. At the time, she was particularly fond of objects. She told me that she wanted her guests to sit at a “table of discovery” and I loved her instructions. She not only wanted the table setting to be pretty, but provocative and low. Her main goal was to have her guests stare and ask, “what is that?” and “how did they do that?”
I love clients with such imagination and appreciation of design.
My client wanted something different, surprising and provocative. What do you think about the design above? Did I find the right balance? All of you florists out there will never guess what petals we used to sculpt the table. Do you want to give it a try?
