I am always surprised by how quickly clients change their likes and dislikes. At one point, most of my clients favored the very loose and “organic” arrangements, but soon after they were looking for more modern–but still generous–look and feel in flowers.
Now, I know that all clients are different, but it’s hard not to notice the turn back towards more traditional shapes such as topiaries. Most topiaries are constructed with greens or boxwood, but I thought it would be fun to create these wonderful sculptures out of flowers. I decided to use some more playful shapes as opposed to the usual ball-shapes we are so accustomed to seeing.
I am currently in the process of creating one of these three styles for a job and plan to make them at least six feet tall.
