Happy Wednesday! In the past few months, I have been on the road where I have had the opportunity to meet and speak with a number of artists in our industry. I love their commitment to their craft and passion and to being different from myself and their peers. As an artist, I believe that we all need to live in a magical world of inspiration and creation. We must infuse dreams with oxygen and bring them to life. If you are an artist, you know what I mean.
Yesterday, I finished the incredible book, “Wishes Fulfilled: Mastering the Art of Manifesting” by Wayne W. Dyer. There were a number of quotes that moved me deeply. I thought I might share a few with you today.
Treasure your greatest gift–your Imagination
Never let your attention be directed by anything or anyone other than your own highest self.
Have a mind that is open to all possibilities.
Live as if what you desire is already here.
Recognize yourself as always connected to your God.
The book closes with a wonderful “Rumi” poem
You were born with potential
You were born with goodness and trust
You were born with Ideals and dreams
You were born with wings
You are not meant for crawling, so don’t
You have wings
Learn to use them and fly.
I was very moved by these reminders and thought many of you might be as well. As an artist, which sentence speaks to you the most and why? I truly look forward to reading your responses.
