Chinese New Year Floral Arrangements
January 27, 2014
This week, the design team at Preston Bailey will be highlighting floral arrangements to inspire decoration for Chinese New Year, which is coming up this January 31st! Whether you are planning an event to ring in the new year or looking for inspiration for a traditional wedding, hints of yellow and red add an elegant and oriental look to your reception.
These two colors are commonly used in the Chinese culture. Red corresponds with fire, symbolizing good fortune and joy, and yellow corresponds with the earth, symbolizing neutrality and good luck. Yellow is also considered the most beautiful and prestigious color in Chinese culture.
Below we have two designs created by Preston for previous clients. Which one do you prefer? Let us know in a comment below.
