Reader Spotlight: 10 Questions For You
November 28, 2012
One of the most wonderful parts of being a member of the design and event community are the incredible opportunities we have to collaborate with (and learn from) those around us. I am always so inspired by the comments, conversations, and wonderful emails I engage in and receive from so many of you and thought it might be nice to turn the tables a bit.
Very often, I am the one being interviewed about my ideas regarding design and what’s happening in our industry, so I thought it might be nice to interview all of you today! Please take a moment to answer the following questions, and post your responses in the comment section below. I think it will be a fun and informative way to inspire one another.
Why did you choose to become a designer? Did you do something before this?
What artists do you most admire?
Where do you find inspiration?
What is your favorite part of your job?
The most challenging part?
What flowers, spaces, materials do you enjoy working with most?
What has been the biggest event you have worked on?
What have you learned that you wish you knew starting out?
What do you think we should see more and less of in the coming season?
What is your motto?
I can’t wait to read your answers!
