I have the feeling that most brides are interested in getting married than been married.

Lately, I have the feeling that most brides are interested in getting married than been
married. After so many years of marrying couples, Can you tell when couples are
meant to be together?
That is a rather a difficult question to ask and the one that I can’t even begin to
contemplate. My job is to celebrate couple’s union, not to guesstimate their future.
Granted, a lot of brides dream of the fantasy wedding, and I hope that they also dream
of a happy married life after the wedding celebrations are over. Nothing makes me
happier than when I run into couples that I have work with over 25 years ago and see
that they are still happily married, regardless of the challenging times that they faced
from time to time.
For sure, I understand how challenging it is to meet one’s soul mate. It took me 57
years of trials and errors before I met my life partner, we have been together for good
ten years, and I daily pray with each year that passes by for many more years with our
commitment to be there for each other in all good and bad times.
For this reason, I have an enormous amount of empathy and respect, for the couples
that I marry, as they embark on their life journey, ready to fade away the challenges with
all the blessings they get at the wedding family and friends they might need stepping
into the real life scenario.
In all honesty, Instead of passing on the judgment, I can only pray that they continue to
grow in love and built the trust by keeping the faith in all times.
I would like to ask all of you as can you tell working on a wedding that couple is meant
to be together?
