How To Stay Motivated
April 3, 2013
With spring in full bloom and many of us enjoying the gift of a fresh start, many of us are finding ourselves ready to move into a new and more positive direction. In the spirit of staying focused, I wanted to share a few quotes I find immensely motivating. I hope they will serve as sources of inspiration today and in those quiet moments when doubt and worry start to rear their ugly heads.
“A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.” Ayn Rand
Question: In what ways do you allow competition to work for/against you?
“The tragedy in life does not lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.” Benjamin E. Mays
Question: What three goals are you going to focus on achieving by January 2014?
“Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.” Winston Churchill
Question: How do you personally stay motivated and excited in the face of adversity?
“Out of clutter, find Simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.”–Albert Einstein
Question: What great opportunity came as a result of what felt like an insurmountable challenge?
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”–Ralph Waldo Emerson
Question: How will you let go of the past and create a better future by accepting who you are, right now, in the present?
Please feel free to answer one or all questions! I look forward to reading your responses!
Let us all keep dreaming (and moving forward!)
