Designing With Flowers: Opening The Doors To My Design Studio
October 6, 2014
One of the business rules I have implemented in my company is that every single job we do must include three elements that have never been seen before. I promise you that, should you choose to implement the same rule, you’ll find that your business will grow faster than anything your imagination will allow. That said, this is often sometimes easier said than done. I have experimented with many one-of-a-kind centerpiece designs, both tall and low, as well as chandelier designs and even many floral trees. I can say for certain that creating these original designs are always a challenge to construct. At times, they make it even harder to make a profit.
I have received hundreds of requests asking how we create these elements from scratch while also making money. It is for this reason that I have decided to open the doors to my offices in New York this month (October 28th and 29th). My team and I will be teaching a class for all of my fellow florists where we will share the mechanics behind the creation of these often elaborate pieces.
In the next week, I will be showing you many images that highlight the elements that we will be teaching. I hope you will have the opportunity to join us for this exciting (I hope) event.
This will be a very hands-on, interactive class. It is for this reason that, because of my limited space, I only have room for the first few who enroll. We will be teaching the “how to” behind the image showcased above as well as others. Please visit my blog in the coming days to see what else we will be teaching.
Until then, many blessings.
