Designing With Flowers: Designing and Building a Structure
April 27, 2015
Very recently, we had the great pleasure of designing a building for a wedding. It was our hope to make this design a classic structure with an impressive entrance. Upon the suggestion of my savvy client to “bring the inside out” we designed two twenty foot floral chandeliers at the window of the space. You will also notice two bird cages–adorned with yellow roses at the base. These wound up holding two live peacocks each in a fantasy garden.
Our challenge was to create decor inside to compliment this entrance. I will be sharing those images with you in a later post. Today, I would like to ask all of you to share your thoughts on the importance of an entrance statement. Do you feel this is a great space to set the tone or should we just concentrate on the inside of the event?
